Veterinary Technology. She has been with the hospital since 1993, working as part of the kennel

watch the babies grow and to be with them throughout their lives. Dawn currently
owns three lovely cats, Soco, Jinx and Twister, along with a beagle mix dog
named Jack.
DARLENE
Darlene earned her A.A.S. degree at SUNY at Farmingdale, NY and has been with
the practice for many years. Darlene and her husband share their home with Sky
who is a German Shepherd, and lovable cat, Niles. Darlene
enjoys attending informative continuing education classes to keep abreast of new
and exciting procedures to help all her patients. Darlene and her husband
are the proud parents of 2 boys, James and Nicholas. She has just recently
adopted a new kitten, named "Snowball". She and her family chose
this name since the kitty is a little white ball of fluff. They also liked
Snowball better than "Big Bird", "Elmo", "Zoe", or "Cookie Monster".

DAN
Dan has been with the Southtowns team for a year now, and loves his job. Dan
first came to us as a student intern, and was so fascinated with the animal
sciences that he stayed on as an employee.
In addition to loving animals, he has an interest in Buddhist Philosophy, and
hopes one day to travel to Tibet. Because of this interest, the Tibetan breeds
of dogs hold a special appeal to Dan, and he hopes one day to own both a Tibetan
terrier and a Lhasa Apso.
