We always have a friendly greeting for you and a crunchy treat for your friend. Our receptionists would like to say, “Hello!

PAM

Pam has worked here at Southtowns Animal Hospital since 1988. She loves meeting and greeting all of the patients who come to visit. All of our patients know Pam as “The Treat Queen”.  She always has some sort of goodie to give out—just ask Newman. He always knows to go see Pam if he wants something tasty and some lovin’.

Pam and her husband Bill have a son and daughter. They have always been animal lovers just like their parents. Her son, Bill, lives in Cleveland, Ohio with his wife Liz and their twin girls Isabella and Sophia, and little brother William. Pam’s daughter, Jessica, is still here in buffalo and helps take care of the at-home kitties: Missy, Winston and Spencer.

AmandaAMANDA

Amanda has been working here at Southtowns For six years. She is attending the University at Buffalo for her bachelors degree in Nursing, where she will be graduating in the spring of 2008. Amanda currently lives with her sister in West Seneca. Amanda has two kitties: Gracee and Scruffles. She loves being outdoors and hopes to further pursue her career in the medical field.

MaryMARY

Mary began her career as a receptionist at Southtowns Animal Hospital in March of 2001. Since then she has adopted MOLSON a five-year-old Golden Retriever, (who only rarely needs to be reminded to watch his manners.) She enjoys interacting with the pets and owners who come to the hospital, and when she isn’t too busy she can be found in the reception area getting acquainted with the new puppies and kittens. Mary always knows where to get a treat. Mary and her husband Walt have two daughters, both of whom are animal lovers. Amy and her husband Eric live in Rochester and volunteer weekly at their local animal shelter. They have tow dogs, Lucky and Baby. Her other daughter, Kathy, has a dog named Jack.

GINA

Gina has lived in Orchard Park most of her life and has always had a house full of pets. She currently shares a home with two dogs, two cats, a rabbit and fish.  She is excited to be a part of the Southtowns team and looks forward to meeting you and your pet.

Shannon & AxlSHANNON

Shannon is a displaced Riverside resident who now lives in the Broadway-Bailey area of Buffalo with her husband Jason, her stepdaughter Madison, and the newest member of the family baby Ashlyn.  She has had a plethora of animals over the past years.  She has had many dogs, cats, ferrets, iguanas and snakes.

Right now, Shannon shares her home with an extremely happy boxer, technically named Axl Rose, but better known to those who love him as "Nugget" or "Nug".  Nug spends his days guarding the bed, being extremely flatulent, and providing a wonderful living jungle gym for the kitties. The number one kitty, who is a rambunctious orange beastie, has been christened "Evil Kenevil Nemo".  Nemo likes to run around the house and then spend many hours laying on "Jabba’s" (the resident bearded dragon) tank soaking up the warmth with his sister kitty Torino.  The last, but not least, resident pet at this time, is "Yoda", a very lovable pug, who came from the West Seneca Dog Warden. Shannon has been here at Southtowns Animal Hospital since April Fool’s Day, 2000, and she loves to meet everyone’s pets. She is especially interested in reptiles and "Pocket Pets", so feel free to ask her any questions.

AngelaANGELA

Angela has recently joined the Southtowns Animal Hospital Reception team, and really enjoys the family atmosphere of our practice.  She has two very playful and mischievous ferrets, and she enjoys meeting all of the other "cute critters" she greets during the day.  Angela enjoys bowling, and is an avid water-polo player.  She just wishes summers were longer in the Buffalo area, because the long winters make the season so short.
