Moderate Gum disease is a deeper inflammation
of the gum tissue, but the gums are still attached. There is often a bad
odor about the mouth, and your pet’s gums may be extremely sensitive.
Remember that red=pain.
The tartar associated with this level of gingivitis is thicker, and may
begin to invade the gums leading to increased infections.
It costs more to treat this condition, but moderate gingivitis is still
curable. The doctors and veterinary assistants can help you assess your pet’s oral health
at your yearly checkup, or we can see your pet for a special dental health
exam.
